I have just recently discovered the joy of salted caramel and chocolate, and I can’t believe what joy I was missing.
Yield: Serves 8
Salted Caramel Skillet Brownie
Ingredients:
- 1 box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker™ Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
- Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
- 1/2 cup caramel topping
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Directions:
- Heat oven to 325°F. Spray 10- to 12-inch cast-iron skillet with cooking spray. Make brownie mix as directed on box, using water, oil and egg. Pour batter into skillet.
- Bake 35 to 37 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes.
- Pour caramel topping over brownie. Sprinkle with salt. Cut into 8 wedges. Serve warm.
