These are fun little chocolate mousse and brownie shots that you can make boozy for the grown-ups, and without booze for the little ones. I love the mini size, it’s great portion control.
Yield: Sevres 2
Chocolate Mousse Brownie Shots
Ingredients:
- 1 box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker™ Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
- Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
- 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup whipping cream
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make and bake brownie mix as directed on box, using water, oil and egg. Cool completely.
- Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat pudding mix and milk with whisk until soft-set. In small bowl, beat whipping cream with electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form. Fold whipped cream into pudding. Refrigerate until ready to assemble.
- Crumble cooled brownies. In each of 12 shot glasses, layer crumbled brownies and chocolate mousse. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving time.
