I’ve been trying to brainstorm different ways to liven up ordinary turkey burgers, and make them extra flavorful and juicy. This feta filled turkey burger with Greek flavors is my latest creation.
Yield: Serves 4
Greek Style Turkey Burgers with Feta
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 heaping tablespoons or 1 heaping tablespoon crumbled Feta per 1/2 lb of meat
- Hamburger Buns
- sliced tomatoes
- sliced onions
- lettuce
Directions:
1. Preheat grill or skillet. Combine ground turkey, Feta cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix with hands and from into patties.
2. Grill until desired done-ness.
