This brownie takes the idea behind a dump cake, and uses a slow cooker and brownie mix instead of cake mix. The result is an ooey gooey oh so delicious hot chocolate brownie and cherry mess.
Yield: Serves 4
Slow Cooker Cherry Dump Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker® Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
- 1 cup butter, cut into tablespoon-size pieces
Directions:
- Spread the cherry pie filling in a layer on the bottom of a slow cooker. Empty the dry cake mix into the slow cooker on top of the cherry filling. Add the butter on top of the dry cake mix.
- Set the slow cooker to Low, and cook for 3 - 4 hours. Spoon the dessert into bowls, and let cool about 5 minutes to cool the hot pie filling before eating.
