Chorizo Burgers With Johnsonville

Johnsonville has finally started making hamburger patties. They have 4 new incredible flavors out: Bratwurst, Italian, Cheddar and Chorizo Patties. They have all the wonderful flavor of Johnsonville sausage, just in a convenient burger patty.

We’ve tried all of them, and love them all. Above is a chorizo burger with chipotle mayonnaise and sweet peppers.

Yield: Serves 4

Chorizo Burgers

Ingredients:

For the burgers:

• Johnsonville Chorizo Burger Patties
• sweet snacking peppers, sliced
• lettuce
• sliced tomato
• sliced onion

Chipotle Mayonnaise:

• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon Chipotle peppers and adobo, chopped fine

Directions:

1. Grill Johnsonville patties according to package directions. Combine ingredients for chipotle mayonnaise and mix well.
2. Slather hamburger bun with chipotle mayonnaise and top burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and sliced sweet snacking peppers.
